Baigui Temple, also known as Fuxi Temple, is located in Baiguimiao Village, 15 kilometers east of Shangcai County, Zhumadian City. Legend has it that Fu Xi saw yarrow overgrown and white turtles floating in this place, so he used yarrow and white turtles to deduce the innate gossip here, enlightened the Chinese civilization, and named this place Cai. In order to commemorate Fuxi, the descendants built the Fuxi Temple here, which was later called the Baigui Temple. The temple preserves the Bagua Pavilion, Yarrow Garden, Fuxi Painting Hexagram Pavilion and other historic sites, and the Baigui Temple Fair is also a major event in the local area, attracting many pilgrims and tourists to visit and visit from March 15 to 25 of the lunar calendar every year.
